We have a clear aim, which is to achieve outstanding by the CQC (Care Quality
Commission). Our current rating is Good.
To achieve outstanding you need all of the following:

We are a well-established local provider of quality care delivered by our carers in your own home.
We aim to provide a service which is flexible, personal, and very much individualised for the person in receipt of our service.
Our aim is to empower people to live as independently as possible in their own home.
Domiciliary Care Services - Leading Quality Care
If you are an older person or have a physical disability, learning disability or mental health needs, our dedicated home care staff may be able to support you with daily activities such as getting in and out of bed, getting
dressed and all aspects of personal care.
We can also help with daily living or domestic tasks like laundry, shopping, and some meal preparation.
For those with additional needs, specially trained staff are available. If you are frail, have been ill, or have just come out of hospital, you may benefit from short–term home care support.
Home care services can be provided by our domiciliary team and paid for using personal budgets. The amount of care you receive weekly will depend on your assessed needs.
All our staff team must be specially trained in areas such as manual handling, first aid, food hygiene, safeguarding and dementia care. All staff have 2 references and background checks with the disclosure and barring service (DBS) prior to commencement of employment with Good Companions.

Our Offices
We have converted three individual rooms that will have full access to Zoom and Microsoft Teams video conferencing facilities. This means at any time our clients; families and our care staff can have great video conferencing facilities wherever they are.
Electronic care monitoring system
Our mission statement is to provide outstanding care to all of our clients and we are always adapting to the best systems, training and professional teams to make sure we are providing the very best care.
We are adapting the way we can provide care by introducing our electronic system. This system is a digital care management platform that provides a single view of care records from enquiry, medication and task changes, to reviews, and automates the process of assessments; - and will all be available on a Mobile Device.

Chauffeur services with Good Companions executive
Mercedes and minibus. Highly professional drivers available for our
clients to visit their family and friends.
Quality Assurance Officer
The appointment of a quality assurance officer. Our aim - all of our staff will be assessed at our customer’s houses by our quality assurance officers. This ensures that our standards of excellence are maintained for our clients and all our great carers.
How To Arrange Our Home Care Services
Step 1
Contact us
We have a dedicated customer team awaiting your call; we will talk you through your needs and will arrange consultation with one of our managers. Assessments can be carried out quickly and effectively.
Step 2
Our FREE home care assessment.
This can take place very quickly and is undertaken by one of our senior team and is completely FREE of charge.
Step 3
Commencement of care
We will both agree a start date and time to commence your home care visits. We will introduce you to our highly trained carers, and your care service will start.
Step 4
Ongoing support
Once your care package has been agreed with yourself, your care managers will carry out regular reviews and care supervisions to ensure you are happy with our service. Our new electronic system will also monitor the quality of care that we deliver to you.
