Our regulated domiciliary care service is registered with and inspected by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) for the provision of Personal Care. Our experienced carers can assist with personal care, medication support, companionship, daily living activities and wellbeing needs, with all services tailored to individual circumstances following an initial assessment.

We understand that arranging care can feel overwhelming, and our friendly team is always happy to offer guidance, discuss available care options and help families find the most appropriate support.

Getting help at home shouldn’t be confusing or stressful. With Good Companions, you can experience our visiting home care service completely free for 5 days – and only decide afterwards if it’s right for you.

How the Free 5-Day Home Care Trial Works

Phase 1 – Free Trial

1 Hour of Home Care per Day for 5 Days – FREE

  • We visit once a day for 5 days.
  • Each visit is up to 1 hour of support – completely free.
  • Help with washing, dressing, meals, medication prompts, or just a friendly check-in.
  • Our usual assessment fee (normally around £300) is also included at no cost.

No obligation: If you don’t wish to continue, simply cancel by Day 4 and pay nothing.

Phase 2 – 3-Month Plan

If You Continue After Day 4

  • You agree to a 3-month home care plan with a minimum of 1 hour per day.
  • You receive a 10% discount on our standard hourly rate for the full 3 months.
  • Standard rate (Mon–Fri): £34.25 → Discounted to £30.82 per hour during the 3-month period.
  • Travel time & mileage are charged separately (over 95% of this goes directly to our carers).
Phase 3 – After 3 Months

Your Choice – No Penalties

  • Continue with care and keep the 10% discount.
  • Adjust the number of hours as needs change.
  • Or stop care altogether with no penalty.
